Accepting the terms

Welcome to PaperX. By using our services you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.

About the service

PaperX is a local-first question-bank and exam tool: question management, exam composition, templates and export run locally in the desktop app; the website (paperx.cloud) provides account management, downloads and documentation. The desktop app is currently free (¥0); no license purchase is required for local features.

Account responsibilities

You register with an email or third-party sign-in (Google / GitHub / WeChat). You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for all activity under your account.

User content

The questions, exams and other content you create belong to you, and the files live on your disk. Official cloud sync is optional and disableable anytime; questions you contribute to the shared bank are uploaded only after your explicit per-item confirmation (see "Library donation" in the app).

Acceptable use

When using our services, you agree to:

• Not upload unlawful, infringing or harmful content
• Not attempt unauthorized access to systems or other users' data
• Not use the services for any unlawful activity
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time: request via "Data & Privacy" in the account portal, and we will remove your account information and cloud data within 30 business days (local library files are unaffected).

Disclaimer

The services are provided "as is", without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Third-party AI / OCR services are configured by you and billed under their own terms.
